The next-generation iPhone SE may be the most affordable model in the lineup, but it could be packed with some impressive specs.

According to Nikkei Asia, the new iPhone SE model will be available as early as early 2022. It runs on the A15 chipset, the same processor likely to be used on iPhone 13 models and iPads, according to sources. It supports 5G connectivity thanks to the mini6-and Qualcomm’s X60 modem chip.

The next-generation iPhone SE is said to have the same design characteristics as the current iPhone SE. This means you’re looking at the iPhone 8 design and 4.7-inch LCD display. Display analyst Ross Young and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo made similar claims earlier this year. Kuo further said the iPhone SE will be “the cheapest 5G iPhone ever.”
