Two Sembawang MPs withdraw at the same time with lower body injuries

SINGAPORE: Two Singapore GRC Members of Parliament (MPs), Ong Ye Kung and Lim Wee Kiak, have temporarily suspended home visits in the ward due to knee and foot injuries, respectively.

Ong’s injuries are old, occurring more than a decade ago. Over a decade ago, he tore the meniscus in his right knee while playing soccer at a trade union convention, after which the cartilage in his knee wore off.

Ben Yeo renovated condo to evict two sons, says it’s time for them to move out

Singapore: Ben Yeo renovated a 950-square-foot two-bedroom condo so his sons have a bedroom to sleep in. His adolescent sons, 13-year-old Javier and his 10-year-old Jarius, sleep beside their parents for a long time. For Ben, now is the right time for them to have separate quarters.

“They were very happy to sleep in the same room as us, but I kicked them out.” I shared Ben to local news 8days. He believed that his sons should be more independent given their age. “How are they going to manage when they do national service?” he added.

SINGAPORE: The ruling People’s Action Party (PAP) has reportedly picked up criticism of the Workers’ Party (WP) position on housing from its Straits Times forum page to the Eduseb Awards ceremony.

Senior Minister Theo Chi Heng He attended the award ceremony at his Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC on February 26 and allegedly used the opportunity to criticize WP, according to parents who attended the event.

In an anonymous post on Singapore’s Facebook group FDW (Working Conditions Forum), the maid successfully asked for a transfer, writing that she was no longer happy with her employer. She also gave her employer a month’s notice to find a replacement helper for her.
