Former United Overseas Bank (UOB) Senior Vice President Pauline Sim has joined Singapore’s fintech startup Sleek as the new head of fintech and strategic partnerships.
Sim will be in a new position overseeing the development of financial services and digital solutions at Sleek. Sim will lead the company’s new vertical market expansion project through an AI-driven customer platform and automation.
Sim began a banking career servicing the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) segment, covering all aspects of SME’s banking and financing requirements at UOB and Standard Chartered Bank.
In 2015, she was part of the team that founded The FinLab, a joint venture between UOB and SG Innovate, accelerating fintech startups around the world, and then by digitizing small businesses and adopting innovative technology solutions. We supported innovation.
Sim was also elected to the Executive Committee of the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) from 2018 to 2019, during which time he was the female leader of the FinTech Subcommittee. Through this role, she successfully introduced the expertise and experience of the founders of female fintech in the industry.
“We are excited to join Pauline as the latest member of the sleek family.
