ISTANBUL: At least four people were killed and more than 30 injured on Sunday (November 13) as an explosion rocked a busy pedestrian street in central Istanbul and people fled from the fiery blast. said the local governor and a released video.

As ambulances rushed into the crowded Istiklal shopping district, police quickly cordoned off the area. The area, located in the city’s Beyo─člu district, was as usual crowded with shoppers, tourists and families, TRT and other media reported.

The state-run Anadolu Agency said the cause of the explosion was not yet known.
