Apple will discontinue iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max with the launch of iPhone 13

With the launch of the new iPhone 13, the previous non-Pro model has been effectively upgraded to a Pro-level feature that was previously reserved exclusively for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, including a new main camera with sensor-shifted optical image stabilization. The function was installed.

That’s why Apple has discontinued the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max.

The latest iPhone lineup available includes iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone SE, and iPhone 11. Apple has also lowered the price of the next older model.

  • iPhone 12 Mini (64GB)- S $ 979 (Previously S $ 1,149)
  • iPhone 12 Mini (128GB)- S $ 1,049 (Previously S $ 1,219)
  • iPhone 12 Mini (256GB)- S $ 1,219 (Previously S $ 1,389)
  • iPhone 12 (64GB)- S $ 1,149 (Previously S $ 1,299)
  • iPhone 12 (128GB)- S $ 1,219 (Previously S $ 1,369)
  • iPhone 12 (256GB)- S $ 1,389 (Previously S $ 1,539)
  • iPhone 11 (64GB)- S $ 799 (Previously S $ 1,149)
  • iPhone 11 (128GB)- S $ 869 (Previously S $ 1,219)

Now, the question is, should you consider them too?

Compared within the same storage tier, the new iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 are up to S $ 100 more expensive than their iPhone 12 counterparts at the newly adjusted price. In my opinion, given the advances in the iPhone 13, it’s better to get the latest.

However, if you want to save as much as you can to upgrade from an iPhone many generations ago, you should consider the iPhone 11 option.
