Apple iPhone 14 rumored to have a “complete redesign”

Apple iPhone 14 rumored to have a “complete redesign”

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Apple iPhone 14 is likely to adopt a new design.

Gurman said in the latest Power On newsletter that the lack of major changes to the iPhone 13 suggests that Apple is expanding its plans for the iPhone 14. In addition, Gourman expects Apple to announce a foldable device “within a few years.”

Gurman’s claim is consistent with reports from other analysts and tales. Earlier this year, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo wrote that Apple could adopt a punched hole design throughout the iPhone 14 lineup, or at least start with the Pro model.

A July JP Morgan investor report suggests that Apple may use a titanium alloy chassis for its iPhone 14 Pro model. This is a hint for a new design language. Tipster Dan Prosser made a similar claim this month. He claims that the iPhone 14 model will have a titanium frame. In addition, with the under-display Face ID system and punchhole camera, the iPhone 14 could have a notched display, he said.
