Ajith Kumar, who entered the Tamil film industry without any connections, has carved a niche for himself through sheer hard work. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film, “Vidaa Muyarchi.” The internet is buzzing with his latest photos, showing that he has shed a significant amount of weight—reportedly around 15 kgs—for his role in the movie. Actress Trisha Krishnan is gearing up for her fifth collaboration with Ajith in “Vidaa Muyarchi,” having previously worked together in films like “Ji,” “Kireedam,” “Mankatha,” and “Yennai Arindhaal.” The film’s music will be scored by Anirudh Ravichander, and Nirav Shah was initially onboard as the cinematographer, but Om Prakash has taken over.

The recently released photos of Ajith sparked various reactions, with many expressing astonishment at his transformation and others finding it motivating. One user complimented him by saying, “Looking handsome, Ajith Kumar Anna.” Another remarked, “He looks like a star with his white hair and beard.”

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions, “Vidaa Muyarchi” is an action-packed film with a significant budget. The shooting commenced in Azerbaijan last October, lasting over 50 days, and the crew returned to Chennai at the end of the previous month. The second phase of shooting resumed in Azerbaijan last week.

Ajith, Trisha, Action King Arjun, Big Boss fame Aarav, and Regina are currently in Azerbaijan for the shooting of “Vidaa Muyarchi.” It has been disclosed that Ajith underwent significant weight loss through rigorous exercise and diet for the film. A photo featuring Aarav, who plays the antagonist in the film, alongside Ajith during their recent visit to Azerbaijan has surfaced, creating buzz online.

Both Ajith Kumar and Trisha returned to the country a few days ago to continue filming. Ajith, reportedly opting not to use a body double, performed an action sequence for the suspense thriller. There are speculations about Ajith portraying a dual role. His recent image showcases a refreshed and composed look.

Filming of “Vidaa Muyarchi” is set to continue from August 18, capturing scenic locations in Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Abu Dhabi. Magizh Thirumeni, known for his directorial work in films like “Thadam,” “Kalaga Thalaivan,” and “Thadaiyara Thaakka,” will be steering the creative direction of the production.
