Trains on the North South Line have been delayed and Singapore Civil Defense Force officers are said to be on the scene, according to a Twitter account that provides the latest information on the rail system. The call to the unit was unanswered.
Another image, believed to have been taken in the scene, showed the girl holding the railing while the SBS Transit police officer appeared to extend her arms from the road below towards her.
